On Second Thought
The Norweigan tale may indeed, be just a tale… It could also be true. I haven’t anyway to prove it one way or the other, nor much of a desire… but truth in advertising demands that I point out one glaring contradiction in the story. Obama has never (according to his public biography) lived in Kansas. Yes, his mom lived there. Yes, he probably has cousins and such there, and maybe he was staying with them. But he was born in Hawaii, lived a few years in Indonesia, and then finished his pre-college years in Hawaii with his grandparents. After that, off to Harvard and Columbia, and from Columbia, off to Chicago. No Kansas anywhere that I can tell.
So – the story COULD be true… but I’ll take it with a grain of salt.
